Games Engineering - Illdao

Developed a game for the Games Engineering module in Second year. The project emphasised creation of the game engine over graphics rendering and as such systems such as entity managers, cameras and message interfaces had to be implemented.

The game I created and designed along with my partner Craig Mcmillan. The story of the game centered around a planet known as Illdao. Home of the Wandering Warrior Buffalo, it is being invaded by the cyborg space squid who want nothing more than to destroy all life in the galaxy.

The game itself plays as a top down, multiplayer strategy game. Each player controls their character, has a number of moves and a few chances to shoot. Then control moves over to the next player.
