IIDI Internship - Data Visualisation
As part of a summer internship, interned at the Institute for Informatics and Digital Innovation. The purpose of this internship was to perform research into D3 and it's possible applications. Alongside this I was required to create visualisations to demonstrate its usefulness as a tool.
The main visualisations that were researched and applied can be seen on the website at the link provided in the side bar. The information being represented is a list of people that work for the IIDI, their publications and their relationships via these publications.
The visualistions also allow different data to be related via interacting with the diagrams. Selecting a keyword in the word cloud will highlight publications and people relating to that keyword.
